»Anstiftung zur Poesie« (/provoke to poetry) · An interactive installation about experimental literatur.

This was my thesis at the Bauhaus-University Weimar. The user selects words taken from an existing poem to construct new versions. While playing with language and sound the possibilities and the magic of words are revealed. The concept and the technique of the reconstruction of an original poem by Fontane was inspired by the ideas of »Oulipo« (Ouvroir de Littérature Potentielle), a group of French poets. The following clip shows one of 90 unique animations that are combined throughout the process of reconstructing the poem.

Active Neighbourhoods
Idea and visualization of a public urban intervention for an idea competition of the Centre of Contemporary Architecture, Moscow. Project in cooperation with Architect Nataliya Sukhova under the name trans-structura-express.
Content: The project sketches how social media and networking could trigger the transformation of typical urban environments.
Among the 10 wining projects awarded with an exhibition in the Schusev State Museum of Architecture, Moscow. 2011
Move Out

Motion graphics for an architectural vision. What if the walls of the concrete tenements would move and create new space for the inhabitants. Project in collaboration with with Nataliya Sukhova.

Client: Siemens
Position: Designer (creative and conceptual), Virtual Identity AG Berlin
Task: SEO optimized pages for trending topics.
Result: These SEO-optimized pages are equiped with many features related to the topics. Interactive infographics enhance the user experience. Through the integration of social media networks the pages gain in influence and effectiveness.
My part: In the core team for concept, presentation, specification, roll-out, content generation (interactive plug-ins, graphics etc.).

STREAPS
Collaborative live mixing tool and band.
Developed in 2002 with Oliver Thuns.

The STREAPS tool allows multiple uses to create their own streams and to mix them with others in realtime. We created the graphics and user-interface as well as the overall concept and programming during a free Media Art & Design project at the Bauhaus University-Weimar.

Our band took part in various live events since 2002 including: NOMUSIC festival, Border Zap, Villa Arson Nice, Juneradio on reboot.fm, radio art Tesla Berlin. Furthermore STREAPS was a permanent feature at bauhaus.fm Weimar until 2005.

Jobs & Careers website
Client: Siemens
Position: Designer (creative and conceptual), Virtual Identity AG Berlin
Task: Complete relaunch of the global jobs & careers path at siemens.com while integrating the new employer branding strategy.
Result: A new approach featuring channels for each featured profession that offer authentic employee videos (featuring real employees).
My part: In the core team for concept, integration into existing domain, visualisation of the concept including screens, animations, usecases, designs, additional video production guideline, concept for video production, specification and measurements as well as a cookbook for easy global adaptation.
Awarded: The Siemens Corporate Website was nominated Best Corporate Website 2011 in the Financial Times / Bowen Craggs Ranking. The Jobs & Careers section helped to get 1st place.

Job: Idea and execution of a collage using (/recycling) modified pool-book visuals.
